Developing children’s social and emotional literacy is a priority for us as a school. The Pacesetter wellbeing programme has given us a shared language across the school for supporting children with their social and emotional wellbeing. Through discussion in the sessions the children have become much more aware of their own wellbeing and the link between thoughts, feelings and actions.

The programme was brilliantly introduced and left the children really excited about the wellbeing project. Student well-being is one of our school's highest priorities, and we are looking forward to seeing how Pacesetter's programme impacts on our students.

The whole set up at Pacesetters is brilliant. Easy to book onto school holiday clubs, and also convenient to use childcare vouchers. It’s the first time my son has been to a holiday club, and has a had a fantastic week! The whole team were lovely, and he came home full of excitement about the activities they had done. I also saw the staff responding brilliantly when another child was a bit anxious as it was their first time attending. They completely put the child at ease by saying it was absolutely ok if they feel nervous, but they had lots of brilliant activities set up for everyone to join in. I also received a text update as my son had a bit of a cold, so really reassuring from that perspective too!

We have continued to access pacesetters for wraparound provision, they have continued to be highly supportive of the school and flexible to our needs. Even through this national crisis, they have been solution focussed to work with us to make sure that the provision we have been able to offer, supported the needs of the school, families and children. The staff are great, very good at communication and lovely with the children, they have been fantastic.

Our academies really value these enrichment events, which bring children together from across PDET. The children particularly like competing in the Sports Days. A huge thank you to the excellent provision organised by Pacesetter Sports.
